THE WAYDOWN The intro/verse riff is just these notes, played as octaves: E D C# B C# A These are muted when the singing starts. The bass during the verse is just E and then D C D, like this: On the waydown there's a lot they can't remember... E E D C D The chorus guitar riff is A B C#, played up high (starting at the 12th fret) on the A string. I'm not totally sure about the bassline here, but it more or less follows the guitar progression. I think there might be a different note in the beginning of the second chorus, but I'm not sure about this.
