Re: [pen] Market guesses
if there is an Alternative Energy ETF, i would buy into that for the
long term. In the short/mid term i would go long S&P.
It's also worth thinking about what the new regulatory atmosphere will
mean for speculators in general. And how will hedge funds maintain their
profits? what loopholes will be created to replace the exotic
instruments of the past decade that will be legislated out of existence?
I am particularly curious to see what will happen with oil speculation
which the senate was investigating while this whole mortgage thing was
going on. In turn, I wouldn't go short on oil but the rate of growth
will surely decline.
