Re: [pen] Help!

I don't think I was arrested, more like being questioned for suspicious activity. I have already escaped on foot and am moving thru the streets. I am going to be at a safehouse by nightfall so my next feat will be getting past the "great firewall" satellite data links are not working. I have access to a phone with a dialtone and a laptop with a modem. Will the "great firewall" let me dial into a modem in the US?

Perhaps the USB thumbdrive and wallet-sized Ubuntu LiveCD were stored in $orifice_of_choice?

Or, if they were less than thorough, in the sole of a shoe.

My question would be why they would leave you alone in a room with 3 computers, your wallet, an Ubuntu LiveCD and a USB thumbdrive.  Searching the prisoner and confiscating all personal effects has been standard procedure for awhile.
