At work we use symantic enterprise and it's pretty workable but we're
behind in versions so I'll have to see when we upgrade.... At home I
use the free one I can downloa from U of M Ann Arbor.....It's a hybrid
of McAfee I believe was engineered by their CS department.... It's
free and seems to work pretty well but one must have a student ID to
download.....

This is why I specified Enterprise AVD Suite. Any other McAfee AV
version sucks. McAfee Online gets a particularly angry middle finger
from me.

I second McAfee. It has kept 12 machines virus free for the past 4
years. I attribute its success mainly to the crippling performance hit
on the machines, which discourages employees from doing anything but
essential work on them. Myspace? haha! don't think so sucka! 5 minutes
later the page loads. Any virus that it doesn't catch would probably
just raise the white flag and surrender from the pain of getting
swapped out so often. Think of the children!!!

Oh, you mean you want the machine to still be usable? I recommend
AmigaOS.
