Just ask denis. Becky, well she's a different story. :-> >it >was pretty obvious that this was a joke, for one, i don't know many people >that can just get up and move accross the world, Actually, last I knew, you DO know alot of people that could do that. Plus, you've never met cube. :-> >you need quite a bit of >cash for that, Pick your crimes right and this isn't a problem... >plus bail, plus you wouldent be able to leave the country >in today's airports ;] The same airports where they have shut down terminals because guards were asleep? The same ones where they let a person get on a plane with explosives in their shoes? The same ones where a kid stole a plane and rammed it into a building in Florida? Yea, it's really hard. :-> Don't let the presence of military personnel fool you. Nothing's changed. The innocent get more inconvenience, and the guilty won't have any problems, just as in the past. Noone said you had to leave the country from a normal airport, nor did they mention taking a plane across the border. You can take a plane to north dakota, and cross the border to canada on foot, then gun it from canada to argentina. Hell, take a boat to cuba, they hate the US, and probably won't extradite you. Granted you have to live under communist rule, but it might be better than the alternative depending on your crime. >Good joke, but people took it too serious. It was a good joke, but it also pays to take it with a small degree of seriousness until you can prove it's not serious. What if the government did do a raid on april fools day for this reason? :-> Granted, I have nothing to fear (at least that I'll mention on a public list...) but still. -Paul On Mon, 1 Apr 2002 nexxus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: > > On Mon, 1 Apr 2002, Brian Bezanson wrote: > > > Free Cube!* > > > * 6-month introductory offer only.
