you're referring to the kenwood pcr-1000. which incidentally, can indeed
be modified to receive full cellular band frequencies. it doesn't do
trunking, last time i checked, though, so monitoring most modern police
departments might be difficult with it.
i think he's looking for something diferent, though; he's looking for
other people with scanners, who've set up the audio output to be shoutcast
or something similar over the 'net.
