cause as far as I know it's perfectly legal for me, a 19 yr old, to go
across the border to windsor to get drunk off my ass, I just can't come back
across the border drunk.
and what of so many people's famed trips to amsterdam to get high?
surely if this were the case they'd figure out a semi-legal way to give
everyone coming back from amsterdam some bullshit drug test...
i thought basically the only things you couldn't do would be those that
would relinquish your citizenship: foreign office, screwing with the us's
interests, etc..
guess I could have been wrong though..

You have to adhere to foreign laws as well as US. Sound like bullshit? If
you go to Canada, it is still illegal for you, as a US citizen, to buy a
Cuban cigar because of the trade embargo we have against Cuba.
